Impression 5 Science Center is committed to giving children opportunities to make meaningful connections to science through hands-on exploration. We want to provide children and families with experiences that allow them to play with the concepts in science, to create, and to challenge their understanding of the world around them.
Impression 5 Science Center is a federally recognized, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization. We do not receive support through a tax millage, and we have no guaranteed government funding. It is the support of our community that funds the work of our mission. When you donate to our annual fund your gift supports the operations, programs, exhibits, and scholarships that have made Impression 5 Science Center a resource in STEM education for the children, families, and schools of Michigan.
During our 50th bithrday, we are celebrating the generations of children who have relied on Impression 5 for dynamic STEM programming, the thousands of small hands that will explore our exhibits this year, and our commitment to innovate relevant experiences so we can serve the future needs of our community. As one of the first science centers in the nation, our focus, values, and intentions are clear and unwavering. We exist to serve—now, and for years to come—to inspire and empower the next generation of engineers, medical professionals, researchers, programmers, and scientists.
