Twinkling Constellations

Saturday, September 19

Learners will use LEDs and a LilyTwinkle Arduino board to recreate their favorite constellation. Explore soldering techniques and elevate your electrical circuits skills!

Spooky Shadow Boxes 

Saturday, October 17

Learners will build a simple two LED circuit inside of a wax paper and cardstock shadowbox, then create a 3D effect by stacking layers of cardstock decorations and cutouts! Starting with a simple circuit, learners will devote much of the time to experimenting with creating their 3D-looking, eye-tricking scene!

Cozy Leather Mug Koozies 

Saturday, November 14

Learners will practice some leatherworking fundamentals, creating an insulating koozie for a mason jar to keep their hot cider warm!  Explore textile making techniques and design, and fuse purpose and creativity to make a one-of-a-kind object.

Winter Woodworking

Saturday, December 12

A perennial favorite, this workshop gives learners introductory woodworking experience, building a wooden holiday box or a reindeer statue! Learners will learn to use a drill, hammer, and nails to build their projects and will be able to decorate and customize their project as well!
