Winter Woodworking

Saturday, December 12

A perennial favorite, this workshop gives learners introductory woodworking experience, building a wooden holiday box or a reindeer statue! Learners will learn to use a drill, hammer, and nails to build their projects and will be able to decorate and customize their project as well!

Thermochromic Clay Lanterns

Saturday, January 16

Learners will use fundamentals of clay working to create a tea light lantern that is color-reactive to the heat from the flame. Learners will be able to customize their projects using different etching and trimming techniques!

DIY Drum Machines

Have you ever wanted to mix your own beats? In this workshop, learners will use some circuitry basics to wire up their very own mini drum machines. They can then use these drum machines to mix pre-programmed beats to take home with them!

Screen Printing

Saturday, March 13

In this workshop, participants will create their own screen printing stencils and use them to customize clothing and other accessories! Some fabrics and materials to print on will be provided, but learners are invited to bring their own clean items from home to screen print as well.
