Impression 5 Science Center Scout Program

Impression 5's Scout Program is curated for many different age ranges and themes, allowing both Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts to participate in fun and interactive science learning. All programs are designed with hands-on activities to meet the requirements for different badges (Girl Scouts) and belt loops (Cub Scouts), and science-focused themes that provide learners with opportunities to get creative and innovative. Learners will work through challenges using their science knowledge, develop teamwork skills with their fellow scouts, and reflect on their experiences to further their understanding of the world around them.

 

Who: All Scouts

What: Impression 5 Scout program and admission to the Science Center.

Time: 1 to 5 p.m.

Cost: $40 per Scout

Create Design & Innovate

The Scouts will be exploring the world of design with a chance to create their own artworks, gadgets, and toys! We will be learning about the engineering process and showing how crucial creativity is for innovation.

 

Coding Technology

February 20, 2027

April 24, 2027

The Scouts will be learning about the language of computers through interactive games, as well as exploring the world of technology all around us! We will be taking a look inside a computer and creating digital art.

Girl Scout Badge Workshops

  • Daisy Badges: Space Science Explorer, Animal Observer, Math in Nature, STEM Career Exploration, and Outdoor Art Maker

  • Brownie Badges: Space Science Adventurer, Senses, Inventor, Robotics, and Bugs

  • Junior Badges: Mechanical Engineering, Space Science Investigator, Detective, Product Designer, and Gardener

 

Cub Scout Belt Loop Workshops

  • Lion Belt Loops: Build it Up, Knock it Down, Count on Me, and Ready Set Grow

  • Tiger Belt Loops: Sky's the limit, Stories in Shapes, and Curiousity, Intrigue, Magical Mysteries

  • Wolf Belt Loops: Code of the Wolf, Diging in the Past, and Air of the Wolf

  • Bear Belt Loops: Forensics, Balancing Bears, and Marble Madness

 

Want a custom scout program?

Exploring a different science badge? Inquire by emailing Jack Haynes. A minimum sign-up of 10 scouts is required to schedule a custom scout workshop. The time, date, and workshop activities will be set during the booking process.
