Girl & Boy Scout Activities

Enhance a visit by registering for these exciting programs tailored for Scouts! All programs are designed to complete a Scout badge and provide the opportunity to learn science concepts while discovering new ideas.

BOY SCOUT PROGRAMS, 2013


The following programs run from from 12:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.:

  • January 26: Cub Scouts — Science
  • February 2: Webelos — Scientist
  • March 9: Cub Scouts — Geology
  • March 16: Webelos —Geologist

Program fee is $16 per scout and chaperones are free. Program fee includes a journal, a snack, and admission to Impression 5. Badges, belt loops, and pins should be purchased separately from your council.

 

SPECIAL BOY SCOUT PROGRAMS

The following programs run from from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.:

  • April 27: Webelos — Engineer

Program fee is $20 per scout and chaperones are free. Program fee includes a journal and admission to Impression 5. Bring a sack lunch! Badges, belt loops, and pins should be purchased separately from your council.

 



GIRL SCOUT PROGRAMS, 2013


The following programs run from 12:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.:

  • February 9: Brownies — Home Scientist
  • March 2: Juniors — Detective
  • March 23: Brownies — Inventor
  • April 13: Juniors — Product Designer

Program fee is $16 per scout and chaperones are free. Program fee includes a journal, a snack, the badge, and admission to Impression 5.

 

SPECIAL GIRL SCOUT PROGRAMS

The following programs run from from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.:

  • April 20: Cadettes — Digital Movie Maker
  • May 4: Brownies — WOW! Wonders of Water

Program fee is $30 per scout and chaperones are free. Program fee includes a journal, the badge and admission to Impression 5. Lunch is included for WOW! Brownies, but Digital Movie Maker Cadettes should bring a sack lunch.

 



OVERNIGHT ADVENTURES

Choose to:

  • Complete a badge
    OR
  • Science Sampler (choose any three of our workshops) 

Your Overnight Adventure at Impression 5 begins at 6:30 p.m. and ends at 9 a.m. the next morning — just bring a sleeping bag! Participate in hands-on science workshops to earn a badge and enjoy an evening snack and light breakfast. A journal is provided. Girl scout badges are included, but boy scouts should purchase badges, belt loops or pins from your council.

Overnight Adventures are $30 per scout and chaperones are free. A minimum of 36 scouts is required. Please call for additional details.
